Hartford Dismas House Celebrates Second Chances: A Benefit Dinner with Keynote Speaker Chris Herren.

The dinner at the Quechee Club was a great success! Supporters of Hartford Dismas came together to celebrate the work of Dismas, the life and success of the residents, and were treated to a wonderful evening of inspirational speakers, wonderful music, and spending time reflecting on how important Dismas is to the the general community. In addition, Dan Fraser of Dan & Whit’s Country Store received the Jack Hickey Award for unfaltering support to Dismas House and the Upper Valley Community. The Jonathan Sylvia Volunteer of the Year Award went to Suzanne Lyons, Penny McClure and Christine McKenna for their tireless efforts in cooking meals and being such an important part of the family that is the Hartford Dismas House. And last, but certainly not least, the gathered crowd raised over $20,000 to support the heating needs and other care for the house.

Thank you to everyone who made this first dinner such a great success!
